A virtual fundraiser for Mohammed’s family
As the U.S. continues to fund I$rae1’s g3n0.c1de, our mutual aid efforts are more crucial than ever. Donations for Pal.est1nian families are slowing down significantly, as the global public’s attention is being diverted towards so many pressing issues. This is your invitation to recenter Pal.est1nian liberation, and care for yourself as you do it.
Join us in raising funds for one particular family who has recently returned to their bombed home in Ga.z.@ and need to rebuild.
This gentle yoga class will center on caring for our own hearts, and extending that care to those suffering in Pal.est1ne and beyond. Explore asana (postures) that feel grounding and comforting. practice pranayama (management of our energy) with slow, full breaths. To end, we’ll take a restorative posture and tune into the support of the earth and the community.
“I am Mohammed. I am a Pal.est1nian. I study in Egypt at the Faculty of Medicine. I am estranged from my family, which consists of 6 members, who are suffering from continuous displacement.
We need your donations to rebuild the home of our memories that was destroyed by war.
We believe your humanity will help us keep our hopes and dreams, and come back together to nurse our wounds.” - Mohammed
100% of donations will go directly to Mohammed’s campaign.
Folks new to yoga are most welcome. This practice will be trauma informed. You may join live or practice via the recording.
