Take a deep dive into the wild world of your pelvis.

For many of us, the pelvic floor can be a source of discomfort, trauma, or disconnection. In a time of misinformation, reduced access to essential healthcare, and growing threats to bodily autonomy, it’s more important to educate ourselves and know how to care for our own bodies. Let’s gather with others interested in creative, holistic approaches to pelvic health. This series offers an opportunity to build a new relationship with your pelvic floor through breath, awareness, and movement. You’ll develop healthy, supportive practices to enhance pelvic health.

Who is this series for?

This series is designed for anyone experiencing pelvic floor challenges—particularly those with pelvic pain or a hypertonic (tight) pelvic floor. It’s also ideal if you want to better understand this vital area of your body. If you experience any of the following, this series could be especially beneficial:

  • Pelvic pain

  • Pain during sex (solo or partnered)

  • Incontinence (leaking)

  • Endometriosis and adenomyosis

  • Painful periods

  • Constipation

  • Vulvodynia, vaginismus, or vestibulodynia

What makes pelvic floor yoga different?

Pelvic floor yoga isn’t your typical yoga class. We approach it with slow, focused movements designed to release tension and promote ease within the pelvic floor and surrounding muscles (such as the glutes, hamstrings, and psoas.) This series focuses on creating a balanced relationship with your pelvic floor, helping to reduce discomfort and improve function.

What will you learn?

  • Pelvic Anatomy & Awareness: Gain a deeper understanding of the bones, muscles, and organs within your pelvis.

  • Breathwork & Nervous System Regulation: Learn techniques to help regulate your nervous system, which plays a crucial role in pelvic floor health.

  • Dynamic Movement & Stretches: Explore gentle yet effective movements and stretches to release tension and restore flexibility in the pelvic area.

  • Strengthening vs. Tightening: Learn how to strengthen the pelvic floor and surrounding muscles without excessive tightening. Spoiler: Kegels are not on the docket!

Course Structure:

  • Class 1: Anatomy + Awareness
Understand the structure and function of your bony pelvis, pelvic floor muscles, and connected muscles.

  • Class 2: Diaphragmatic Breathing + Pelvic Floor Mapping
Can you differentiate the front, back, and sides of your pelvic floor? Build awareness of this vital area. Learn how to do “pelvic floor drops” and “3D breathing.”

  • Class 3: Dynamic Movement + Gentle Stretches
Release tension and increase mobility through specific movement. Learn how to adapt common asana (poses) to focus on your pelvic floor.

  • Class 4: Nervous System Regulation + Rest
Cultive relaxation and balance for your nervous system and pelvic floor, which are very much connected.

  • Class 5: Stabilizing + Strengthening
Build strength and motor control for long-term pelvic health. A balanced approach fosters true stability, reduces muscle guarding, and decreases pain.

By the end of this series, you'll have a richer understanding of your pelvis, as well as practical tools for maintaining pelvic health. You’ll also discover how the broader practices of yoga—such as mudras, pranayama, and asana—can positively impact pelvic function.

Course Details:

  • Inclusive Language: We’ll use gender-neutral language, and all genders and anatomies are welcome.

  • Accessibility: Auto-captions will be provided.

  • Format: The course will be recorded with the spotlight on the instructor, Sasha. You can join live or follow along with the recordings at your own pace. Recordings will be sent after each class and remain available for one month following the end of the series.

Create a deeper connection to your body and learn essential tools to support your pelvic health.

“I cannot say enough about how this community has changed my life and will continue to so after the sessions are over. Sasha is such a gentle and confident presence. During each session I felt my needs were considered and met as someone with chronic joint pain but who wanted for gentle movement. There was a real community fostered during these few weeks of sessions that was powerful and impactful. I highly recommend taking a class/private class from Sasha in the future. I know I will be!” - Yoga for Endometriosis participant
