Join us for a five-week journey dedicated to self-care and collective support. The holidays can be a tumultuous time; bringing up grief, anxiety, and difficult relationship dynamics. We may experience more isolation and loneliness than any other time of year. In this series, we’ll gently hold these experiences with compassion, and explore ways to nourish ourselves through difficult times. Rather than managing the holiday season alone, this series invites you to move through it with community by your side.
We’ll find “safe enough” ways to connect with our bodies through movement and learn to regulate our nervous systems. We’ll create a map to guide us through our unique circumstances, and practice creating healthyboundaries. We’ll learn how to find “okayness” in times of stress. (Maybe even ease and nourishment!) This series will integrate asana, pranayama, meditation, art, and journaling.
Week 1: Tending to our Nervous System
Week 2: Art and Asana
Week 3: Boundaries and Bingo
Week 4: Self Care Planning
Week 5: Peace and Pleasure Practices
Together, we'll explore safe and soothing practices to reconnect with our bodies, hearts, and minds. You’ll leave with specific tools to apply to your holiday plans (and beyond.)
This series is designed to be trauma-informed, and welcomes folks new to yoga. Whether you are a trauma survivor or simply seeking a space for self-care, we invite you to join us on this path towards holistic well-being.
